Dear Friends and Partners in Lao Mission
I am currently in Sydney, Australia, on my home leave. I am here to see my
son off to college. Maybe, you might be expecting to read some good news
about the Lord’s work in Laos. Indeed, there are many good news of how God
has led His work in Laos. Just to stir up your appetite for more exciting
news I would like to send you a report on our attempt to enter a new
unentered province. We do have five more unentered provinces, namely
Phongsaly, Saysomboun, Khammuane (we do have believers in rural areas, but
yet to register them), Savannakhet (we do have members in the border with
Vietnam, but yet to register them), and Sekong.
We hope to reach all provinces of Laos with the gospel by 2020. It is a
very daring goal. We believe that God will make sure that all people have
a chance to hear the gospel before the Lord returns. Since the Lord is
returning soon would you do everything in your power to help us reach all
the people of Laos. In the past, Laos was not known to the world. It was
a forgotten country, even though it is the most bombed country on the
planet earth! Until now, 25% of the land in Laos is still unusable due to
unexploded ordinances. Please pray that the misery of the Laos people will
turn into joy because they have found a better country—the Promised Land.
Best regards
K. Phetchareun
